Can anyone report on the road conditions and parking on Sandia?

I agree with Debbie!  Gravel Pit, Switchback, Rocky Point, all a dream, trees flocked.  Chilly nice.  (However, BE-WARE of the low dip on Rocky Pt- I got caught on a couple of rocks on the turn at the bottom and severely smacked The Tree.  Possibly best to inch down for now.)  Enjoy the mtn!  BetG

It was a perfect day for skiing in the Sandias winter wonderland today. With limited time, Randy & I rode the Tram. Skied fresh powder on North Crest Trail. Awesome! The service road was pretty good as well, with a couple of icy areas, but really very skiable. How great to be so close to such great ski trails! Should be good for the Saturday beginners' class if the temperatures remain this cold.
