I was up there today. Conditions are pretty awful. Trails around Ellis have been tracked and walked on and they are hardpacked and icy. I skied the Switchback and Survey and the Survey's snow was better (only terrible) and the further you want the better it got. The snow did soften a bit by the time I returned around noon. I would say, if you go, tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and warmer, wait to the afternoon.
Don't know about the groomed trails, except the Ellis road was hardpacked and icy at the beginning where everyone uses it.
