Just within the 9 miles from Santa Fe, I went to Black Canyon yesterday afternoon. There was about 5 inches of new snow on the trees and it was cold enough not to be melting. Skiing was quite good although the trail was well-packed by snowshoers. A lot if hikers and snowshoers will be out today. The Norski Trail should be great. I’ll be there on Monday.
