The groomed Chile Classic ski area is awesome. On the left a few miles into CO. At the trailhead, there is a map that shows where there are ski only areas around there.

Subject: [NMCCSC] Info on chama area skiing?

Hi. I'm new to this group and new to skiing in northern NM ( or more northern than Santa Fe/Los Alamos). We are planning on heading to Chama for a few days and looking for areas not over run with snowmobiles. Any suggestions are welcome, with a hint to what roads they are accessed from. Groomed isn't necessary.
