I skied Sandia yesterday and was elated to find so much snow up there! There was anywhere from 3 to 10 inches of new snow--mostly on the trails above the service road. From Klaus to Rocky Point then Switchbacks and down Buried Cable. That was so much fun I decided to do it again but not before making several tele turns on the burn scar. Then, heading back to the tram I was able to make more telemark turns on the Gravel Pit slope and called it a EmojiEmojiEmojiEmojiEmoji day! Nothing was groomed so excellent cross country conditions but I hear they are going to get out and groom today. Thank you Snow Gods!!
