Here’s the ski
trip you’ve been waiting for: Frisco CO, February 9th -13th. Members have reported wonderful trails for
all skiing levels, good snow and great times from past trips. Of course, there
are at least 5 ski areas close at hand for those wanting to do area skiing. We
have reservations for 15 double rooms at the Ramada Frisco for 4 nights. Because
a number of members have requested (and requested and requested) for the club
to offer a longer stay, we now will offer an extra ski day, arriving on Friday
and leaving Tuesday. I do understand that there may be some of you who, due to
work or family obligations, might find it difficult to stay an extra day, so we
will offer the option of either 3 or 4 nights. Right now, we will offer 10
rooms for four nights and 5 rooms for 3 nights. This can change due to demand,
so if your chosen ticket is full, please put your name on the waitlist. Here
are the details:
When: Friday February to Monday February 12th or Tuesday, February 13th.
Where: Ramada Inn, Frisco, CO, 990 Lakepoint Dr.
Cost: Three days, $ 289 per person, double occupancy.
Four days, $ 375 per person, double occupancy.
Breakfast is included with the hotel stay. Cost includes snacks and refreshments for our nightly après ski meetings. It does not include the drive, other food and incidentals.
Distance: From Albuquerque, 368 miles, 6 ¼ hours. That’s only 10 minutes longer than our Crested Butte trip last year!
To Register: We will open registration on New Year's Day, at 5pm. Hopefully this will allow all members to be available to secure a spot.
How: Go to the NMCCSC website (https://ski.nmccskiclub.org/), sign in under the membership tab, then under the calendar tab go to the Frisco car trip, purchase your ticket and pay.
We can help with finding a roommate and carpooling. There are no refunds. If you find you are unable to go, you will be responsible for finding a replacement for your spot. However, there may be someone on the waitlist eager to take your place!
Questions: Please email me directly, lbghose@aol.com. Do not use reply all.
See you there!
