I want to thank Dana and all of the instructors for an absolutely spectacular day of instruction in the snow yesterday! I really appreciate all of the volunteer and organizational work that went into our first day of instruction this year. Thank you also for all the good cheer, and of course, the chocolates 😉

Hi everyone, we have a large group (about 40 including instructors) so we need to carpool to Ellis.

ABQ people please meet at Smith's, Tramway and Central, at 8 (a little before 8 would be good) so we can organize carpools. Also if we need to make any changes like doing the class lower on the mountain it will be easier to communicate. I'll meet people at the south side of the parking lot - it's out of the way and will make it easier to find each other. I'll be with another instructor, Ken.

Santa Fe/ East Mountains people, meet at 8:30 and park at the Lazy Lizard (right next to Shell station) at the bottom of the Crest road (hwy 14 & 536). Instructor James Mathis will be there to help you get organized. I also plan to stop there.
I won't be checking email Saturday morning, text me if you have any last minute issues. (505)417-9787

Hopefully someone will go up the mountain Friday and send an update, hopefully the road will be plowed. We may need to shift class to a lower area (we've used Doc Long before).  So please keep checking email for updates.
