I went up to Ellis Tuesday morning. The clouds hung around just long enough to keep the 2-3" of snow in great condition. An amazing ski for April. On the way up, the road was a skating rink from about Capulin. It then turned to snow packed around 10K. On the way down all the ice and some of the snow had already melted. I was going to try an afternoon spring ski tomorrow, but with the wind coming in I changed my mind. We'll see what the next storm brings.

I was up on Tues. Went a little beyond 9 mile. Road completely clear. Plenty of snow.

Has anyone been on Sandia Crest this week, perhaps Tuesday or later, and would have a conditions report?

I know at some point the service road would be plowed.
Thanks.
