Alpine Sports in Santa Fe has a couple of pairs of (last years) Fischer 98s cross-country skis for sale - 169 cm for $270.  This is a super deal for wonderful all-round back-country touring skis - with metal edges & fish scales.  Kick & glide and telemark turns for moderate slopes.    You might call them to see if they are still available.  Thinking snow!
