Hello all,

This is just a friendly reminded to brave the snow and the cold and come out for the New Mexico Cross-Country Ski Club's annual holiday potluck and social evening at the Albuquerque Garden Center this coming Thursday, December 11 from 7-9pm.  

What on earth is this all about anyway?  Bah Humbug!

This is a chance to wear a fun, holiday themed hat or costume and celebrate the evening with your fellow snow bunnies.  We will mix and mingle and enjoy each other's company as we stuff our faces to the gills.  (No wonder I'm slow on the skate skis!)

Do I have to bring anything?

We'd love for you just to come...but, if you feel so inclined, bring a dish to share.  (Oh and If you have a women's size 7.5 Scarpa T4 3-pin, 75mm boot for $25 I'll take them:)  

What's in it for me?

Besides the food, everything!  Hang out with fellow ski bums, learn about ski clinics, beginner lessons, Tele lesson, car trip to Leadville, downhill XC techniques, nordic events (Chama Chili Classic), and trail maintenance.  You won't believe what you can learn when you find someone to chat with.  You might even score some ski equipment as club members frequently bring in equipment they are looking to part with.
