I skied down the road and got to the car at 5:18 pm and the 4 plows were going up behind the new gate and a driver said the road to the top “should be open soon.”  I think we can drive up in the morning.  Check NMDOT roads as they correctly stated it was closed this morning.  Joe K

skinned up from sandia peak at 11:00.  the road was Not plowed, but i had no problem in my subaru outback with very good tires.  there were numerous cars stuck on the side.

great powder skiing.  stayed off the steeper stuff cuz they need more snow, but the basic fall line moderate run(s) were excellent.
