I broke trail on Double Eagle on Saturday - my first time on it. Beautiful trail; don't know the ins n outs of what trails are 'adopted' for grooming, but thought that would be a good one.

Hi Skiers- this afternoon I took a short ski out south from 10K parking on the forest road, now called Double Eagle#23, to the ski area and back, total just under 2miles. The snow right at this moment is in really good shape there, even a little fluffy in spots. Not icing yet under the snowshoe tracks. Ski area seemed open today, the downhill run I saw has not been groomed but plenty of skiers have gone down. Road dry. Snow won't last. I forgot how very quiet it is.
