With the end of summer and a drop in temperature our thoughts are turning towards the winter skiing season ahead. Thank you for all those rain dances I know we have all been diligently engaging in, they worked! Let’s hope the rain will turn into snow later this year. Keep those dances going!

El Niño Winter in New Mexico - by Kerry Jones!
Kerry Jones has had a long career with NOAA’s National Weather Service and is currently with the US Forest Service. Kerry's presentation will highlight the latest on the very strong, and strengthening, El Niño pattern that is currently in place and how it will likely influence the upcoming winter in New Mexico. He will also discuss technologies accessible to us and that benefit the field of meteorology itself. Come and see- we all want to know about our winter!
