≈≈≈≈ANNOUNCEMENT #2 Phyllis Winne-Barnard died Monday, June 3.   Funeral Services Tomorrow, Saturday, June 8 ≈≈≈≈
	

Phyllis Barnard, 75, died in hospice care Monday June 3rd after a long battle with dementia.  Phyllis is survived by her brother Walt, sons George (Jen) and Jon (Meg) and grandsons William and Aidan.  Phyllis was truly one of a kind and always put her family and friends needs before her own.  

Phyllis was born in Hackensack NJ, grew up in Oradell NJ and Graduated from Limestone College in 1965.  She worked her entire professional career as a Public School Teacher in service to others.  Phyllis was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and friend to all.  She grew up on boats with a love for the water and fulfilled a lifetime dream by retiring to Kure Beach, NC.  She loved walking on the beach, collecting shells and taking care of her garden.  

Funeral services for Phyllis will be at St. Columba's Episcopal Church on Saturday, 8 June at 3:00 pm.  Phyllis’s ashes will be laid to rest at the St. Columba’s memorial garden next to her husband Andy.  In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the St. Columba’s Memorial Garden fund.
