≈≈≈≈ANNOUNCEMENT #1 Greg Chaberski ≈≈≈≈

Yesterday, Blaine Pool (RDHS class of 1963) e-mailed me that two days ago (on Monday, September 7), Greg Chaberski had died at his Florida home..  No other information is known.

Since I have never been in contact with his family, I don’t think I should be calling just yet to find out details (funeral, etc.).   But if one of you who knows the family well enough could call and relay me the information, I will circulate it.

≈≈≈≈ANNOUNCEMENT #2 Stephen Housman ≈≈≈≈

Although we never found our missing Stephen Housman, it appears that he lived in Paramus and was hiding right under our noses.  Charlie Geib found this in a local paper:


HOUSMAN Stephen, age 74, of Paramus, NJ died Friday. Graveside service 11:00 AM today at 
Beth El Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. Arrangements are by Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn, NJ.

I have e-mailed Beth El cemetery, Louis suburban Chapel, and the Paramus JCC.  So far Beth El has answered me that they have no further information,  and both Louis Suburban Chapel and the JCC have not yet responded.  I am hoping to see an obit or identification of next of kin, or something so I can get with good confidence that this is our missing Stephen.
