Hello Classmates, Teachers, and Friends,
Here are the details for our upcoming 55th reunion buffet luncheon.
First: please do not misinterpret the word “luncheon.” This is not watercress sandwiches and mint julep event. Well, maybe the mint juleps ….
Truth: Our event is a full-blown dinner buffet – choice of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Coffee, tea (hot or iced), soda, and rolls are included. There will be music and a cash bar. The reason it is called a luncheon buffet is – well – it’s served at lunch time. We did that primarily to minimize expenses for an “in-between milestone” event, but also we had received feedback that a more casual 55th would be fine.
Here is all the info you need to sign on.

Now, that was easy, wasn’t it? Spouses, friends, and partners are welcome, to be sure. No pets or grandchildren, please. Our minimum guarantee covers 47 people, which means we pay for 47 whether or not 47 people come, so please, those of you who enjoyed the 50th and expressed an interest in a 55th, and those of you who couldn’t make the 50th and would like to see some of your old friends, sign up and come on down! There is a RD home football game the night before (directions to the school will be supplied for those who have forgotten how to get there), and plenty of opportunity during the weekend to hook up with old pals. To make things easier for those who come in from out of town, we’ve listed a couple of area hotels below.
Holiday Inn Express Paramus, 50 Route 17 North of Route 4
Holiday Inn, 2339 Route 4 East, Fort Lee
Doubletree Hilton, 2117 Route 4 Eastbound, Fort Lee (right before the GWB heading east)
Courtyard Paramus, 320 Route 17 North, Paramus
Crown Plaza Hotel Englewood, 401 South Van Brunt Street, Englewood
Linda Luke Capello also has a very large house in Oradell … just kidding…
The committee, Marge, Karen, Bob and Helen, look forward to seeing you on September 24th.
