George Richard Johnson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed gently into God’s arms on January 19, 2017. George was born in Bronx, NY to George William and Mildred Walderman Johnson on May 6, 1943.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Judy; sons and daughter-in-law Dan, David and Dannette Johnson; granddaughters Avenlea and Cadia Johnson; brother Ted Johnson; and sister and brother-in-law Geri and Roy Ruane.

George loved his family, friends and pets, his home and his retirement life (golf and pickleball especially). He was interested and interesting, never without a comment, suggestion or opinion. We will hold him in our hearts forever.

A life celebration will be held on Saturday February 18, 2017 at the DeSoto Club from 2:00-4:00 p.m.
