The schedule in the obituary has changed, so now it specifies the visitation on Friday, March 8, the Service on Saturday March 9, and the interment on Saturday March 9.  These details on the Funeral home obituary are now in their third iteration. If you are intending on going, it might be best for each of you to check with Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home regarding the final schedule before starting your travel.  I just checked with google maps, and I find that the ride on Saturday from the Funeral home to the interment in Butler is about a 35 minute drive to the NorthWest.




Obituary


Linda Ann Capello (nee Luke), 80, passed away March 2, 2024.  Devoted mother of  Heather (Arthur) Cozine and Jennifer Trismen.  Cherished grandmother of Jessica (Logan) Vaught, Meredith (Jesse) Edelman and Laura Cozine, and great-grandmother of Vanessa and Carter Vaught.  Loving daughter of the late Ethel (nee Kipp) and Stanley Luke.  Also survived by her beloved canine companion, Jolie. Linda will be sadly missed by her former spouse and cherished friend, William Capello.

A lifelong resident of Oradell, NJ, Linda had a great love for the borough, serving on the council and committee for the county Republican Party.  Linda was employed for many years as a branch manager at Valley National Bank, and was a longtime member of the Hackensack Golf Club. Linda was always known to be a kindhearted person, making those around her smile. She always dressed in style, enjoyed social gatherings, and had a passion for reading and journaling.  She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends whom she held close to her heart. 

Visitation Friday, March 8th, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home, 869 Kinderkamack Road, River Edge.  Pastor Stephen Sweet will officiate a service at the funeral home on Saturday, March 9th, 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler, NJ.
