WestConnect Developer Selection Process Task Force,

Bob forwarded the clean version of the March 3rd draft procedure document to the CCS/Tariff Task Force(TTF) this morning. We will coordinate an opportunity to discuss the TTF feedback when we’ve heard from the TTF that they’ve had a chance to review the document and our questions.

Thank you,

Subject: WestConnect Regional Transmission Planning Procedure – Developer Selection Process

Steve,

The WestConnect Developer Selection Process Task Force has completed the first draft of the WestConnect Regional Transmission Planning Procedure – Developer Selection Process. We would like to have the Tariff Task Force review the document to determine if there are inconsistencies with the current version of the tariff that need to be addressed, to assess if there are appropriate changes to the tariff that would be supportive of the procedure, and to provide overall feedback. The attached procedure document includes yellow highlighted sections where we are asking for input from the Tariff Task Force on a number of issues, including:

  * How will the reevaluation process impact developer selection?
  * What is the appropriate triggering event to initiate the developer selection process, in particular the formation of a pool of Independent Evaluators?
  * Identification of conflicts of interest
  * Application deposit and reconciling costs with project sponsors
  *   Handling of confidential information
  * Detail around the evaluation/scoring approach

Please let me know when the Tariff Task Force has completed the review and we can determine the timing for communication and feedback and determine whether this would be best facilitated by a joint call or an in person meeting of the two task forces. If possible we would like to have the feedback in time for our call scheduled on April 26 from 8 to 10am. Let me know if you think that is doable. Thanks,

Bob
