Subject: RE: WestConnect Regional Transmission Planning Procedure – Developer Selection Process

(Apologies to those who get this email twice…I have included both CCS and TTF representatives on this distribution to ensure everyone is included.)

Bob,

Per your request, the TTF has completed our review of the DSPTF document that you sent out on March 16, 2017. We held a couple of conference calls and ultimately decided to respond with high level comments rather than responding to each of the issues raised in your email below. As our attached response states, the TTF representatives appreciate the DSPTF efforts in developing the procedure. It is obvious that a great deal of time and effort went into developing the document.

We have an agenda item to cover discussion of our response scheduled for the next PMC meeting to be held May 17. Please let us know if you have any questions before the meeting and hopefully we will have good participation by CCS/TTF representatives so we can discuss more broadly at next Wednesday’s PMC meeting.

Respectfully,

Steve Williams

Subject: WestConnect Regional Transmission Planning Procedure – Developer Selection Process

Steve,

The WestConnect Developer Selection Process Task Force has completed the first draft of the WestConnect Regional Transmission Planning Procedure – Developer Selection Process. We would like to have the Tariff Task Force review the document to determine if there are inconsistencies with the current version of the tariff that need to be addressed, to assess if there are appropriate changes to the tariff that would be supportive of the procedure, and to provide overall feedback.  The attached procedure document includes yellow highlighted sections where we are asking for input from the Tariff Task Force on a number of issues, including:

Please let me know when the Tariff Task Force has completed the review and we can determine the timing for communication and  feedback and determine whether this would be best facilitated by a joint call or an in person meeting of the two task forces. If possible we would like to have the feedback in time for our call scheduled on April 26 from 8 to 10am.  Let me know if you think that is doable.  Thanks,

Bob
