George Russell, Aaron Combs, Rolf Lokke and Ed Cohen with their mix of classic swing, old-time, Americana, western, novelty
and familiar vintage vinyl favorites. Maybe a few railroad tunes to boot. Their music draws from influences such as Bob Wills,
Jimmie Rodgers, Grateful Dead, Leon Redbone, Arlo Guthrie and the Steeldrivers. Enjoy strong vocals, picking and fiddling while
keeping your toes tapping as we hope you join us for a fun show.

"The Holy Doves” is a thought-provoking and gripping novel redefining faith-based literature's boundaries. This compelling novel offers readers a unique fusion of theological mystery and heart-pounding suspense as it explores the nature of divinity and human faith and offers a unique perspective on modern spirituality.
"The Holy Doves" introduces readers to Bria Tanaka and Joseph Pirelli, two unsuspecting individuals thrust into an ancient prophecy when a blinding light illuminates the heavens. Chosen by Inanna to bear the new Messiah, they navigate a perilous world of a secret battle between two rival Catholic brotherhoods and divine interventions that will determine the future of all Western religions and the survival of humanity.

Admission is Free, but donations are gladly accepted.

Nestled in a steep gully, about halfway up a small, unpretentious hill, about 16 miles west of Los Lunas, New Mexico, almost literally in the middle of nowhere, is an “artifact” that has been the subject of much discussion since its “discovery” in the 1930s.  The Los Lunas Mystery Stone, also known as the Decalogue Stone, is a 60-ton boulder inscribed with an abbreviated version of the Ten Commandments in Paleo-Hebraic, a language used primarily by the Samaritans during and after the Babylonian captivity.  This presentation will discuss the Mystery Stone and its archeological context and offer some possibilities for its origin.

From the author: This account is based on the men and women who actually did the day-to-day railroading - the train and engine crews, the mechanical forces, the water service men, the telegraphers and dispatchers, the clerks and depot staff. It is about the trackmen who fought heat and blizzards to keep the trains operating, and the thousands of others who came before me. It is about the homesteaders, the small towns that sprang up and eventually died off, and the importance of the Cut-off in the development of eastern New Mexico. It is written from the view of a railroader

Dr. Donatella Davanzo, Italian American cultural anthropologist, is a scholarly photo
ethnographer and instructor of visual anthropology.

“Route 66 Connected” by Dr. Donatella Davanzo is a multimedia exposition that proposes an innovative evaluation of the historic American highway on the eve of its centennial. By examining existing original resources in operation along the contemporary road in New Mexico, the presentation will enrich the public interest in the “Mother Road” history through a detailed photographic documentation and personal interviews. A variety of narratives concerning the heritage of Route 66 will uncover how the road still conveys its significance and its multicultural nature as a legacy that preserves the distinctive cultural richness of New Mexico as well.

WHEELS is looking for the old 78 records that may be gathering dust in your home.

The 78 spinners raised a tidy sum of money in 2024, and are hoping to do the same this year.

Write to “wheelsmuseum@swcp.com” to arrange a donation.
