Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, August 5, FOSM volunteers will be felling hazard trees in Capulin Picnic Area and Snow Play Area. Lou Romero has been scouting trees in this area ascertaining that all the hazard trees are marked.

We need both swampers and sawyers. The crew will be divided into teams of 5 or fewer volunteers each.

We will meet at 8 AM at the FOSM Guard Station to fuel chain saws and collect equipment and supplies.

Wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, and sturdy boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring a face mask, lunch, snacks, lots of water, hard hat, eye protection, and work gloves.

We will travel to the work site with just one person in each vehicle unless some volunteers are in the same family.
