Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, August 19, ten FOSM volunteers completed felling hazard trees in Balsam Glade Picnic Area and felled most of the marked trees in the Ski Area Overflow Parking Lot. 

In Balsam Glade PA, we felled six trees along NM-165 (Placitas Road) to the lower parking lot with the largest being 22 inches in diameter and one tree along the Nature Trail. At the Overflow Parking Lot we felled four  trees with the largest being 17 inches in diameter.
