On Tuesday, August 25, Anne Hickman and Sam Beard worked about 7 hours attempting to remove three large graffiti areas and several small areas from the Crest Nature Trail.
Before and after photos are presented in the attached Word document.
The photos show that red, orange, and purple were removed very well, but that blue and some black were not removed well. Also, felt tip pen graffiti could not be removed with the remover we were using.
I have ordered two gallons of the remover for stone, one gallon of the remover of felt tip pen ink, and one gallon to use on paint and other sensitive surfaces.
We were using World’s Best Graffiti Remover for brick and stone. If you know about remover that will remove blue, black, and other colors, please email me at samgbeard@msn.com.
Please let us know about graffiti that you see on the Sandia Ranger District.
