Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, October 7, eight volunteers felled a total of approximately 90 hazard trees in Las Huertas Picnic Area. Most of the trees were Gambel oaks with diameters of less than 10 inches, and they were located along both sides of the road to the upper level. Three of the trees had diameters of 14 inches, 17 inches, and 22 inches.

The volunteers, who worked in three teams, were Cliff Giles, Sam Beard, Dennis Crowther, Bill Savage, Eric Russell, Byron Garner, Jerry Carroll, and Michael Arndt.

Photos by Cliff Giles are presented in the attached Word document.
