Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, November 11, 2020, eight FOSM volunteers continued bucking and splitting hazard tree wood in Cienega Picnic Area and loaded it on Joe Meade’s trailer and pickup. Lou Romero obtained the fuelwood permit and drove Joe’s pickup.

Wood from the following areas was loaded on the trailer and pickup: group reservation area, along the sidewalk across the road from the second restroom, and the west side of the picnic area road below the second restroom.

After the wood was loaded, a 10-inch fir across Wagon Trail between the Cienega PA gate and the tee intersection was removed after Jerry Carroll bucked it.  The project was completed by 11 am.

The crew Wednesday consisted of Sim Cook, Jerry Pekarek, Cliff Giles, Dennis Crowther,  Bill Savage, Jerry Carroll, Joe Meade and Lou Romero.

Project photos are presented in the attached Word document.
