Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, Aug. 18, FOSM volunteers will be replacing broken fence posts in Cienega Canyon Picnic Area. When volunteers checked all the posts last week, they found about a half-dozen broken posts. We have used all the posts  that I purchased recently. After Lou Romero and I went to Big R in Bernalillo, we returned with a dozen posts to replace broken posts in the lower picnic areas.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station to collect equipment and pressure treated poles.

Wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, and sturdy boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring a jacket in the event we have a shower. Bring lunch, snacks, eye and ear protection, drinks, work gloves, and a hard hat.
