On Tuesday, August 24th. the FOSM paint Crew  basically finished painting the restrooms in  the picnic  areas  South of the Ranger Station. We worked  in Locust, Oak & Yucca  by applying Penofin to all the restroom doors  which had  previously been scraped, brushed & stained on previous work days.    Also the beams extending from the    roofs which had been   prepped  &  repaired with epoxy, were painted with  Forest Service color brown paint.    The only remaining work to be completed is to finish painting the single wooden  rest room situated near the entrance to the complex.  It became too hot to finish with the sun directly on the structure.   The entire area  is very attractive, clean looking & inviting.  A jewel in the forest!  We saw  a few deer  there one day, undoubtedly admiring their surroundings!  Painters were Russ & Ellie Parker, Sam Beard & Anne Hickman
