Hello Everyone,
On Wednesday, Sept. 22, FOSM volunteers and TTYL YCC crew members will be mowing grass and weeds on the three sledding slopes at the Capulin Snow Play Area. I plan to try to organize the volunteers and TTYL
members so that two people will be mowing for an hour and then two other people will be mowing. The power mowers are large walk-behind mowers with power to the wheels so that we will not have to push them.
In addition to cutting small locust trees in the lower part of the new sledding area, we may use brush cutters and chain saws to cut the remaining brush in the parking lot traffic island.
Manny Chavez, SRD employee, will haul the mowers to and from the CSPA and work with us all day.
Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station. Wear long pants, a long-sleeve shirt and boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring a hard hat, ear and eye protection, and work gloves.
Also, bring lunch, snacks, and drinks.
Please email me, if you have questions.
