On Mon. Dec.13 the FOSM Trail Crew hiked Embudito Tr. to remove the trees reported by Ho/Buss. These included a 12" across the trail at mi. 2.6 and a 5" at mi. 2.9. We continued to hike to 1/4 mi. below Oso Pass and stopped for a pleasant but cool lunch
on our return. On the return we removed an unreported 6". Also 6 leaners ranging between 2" and 5" and a 5" partially blocking the trail were removed. We then detoured to the north
reroute above the drainage which was found to be almost as rugged as the drainage and with frequent cactus encroachment. It was a perfect day for hiking - unseasonably warm and perfectly clear. The Trail Crew included Jerry Pekarek, David McCreery and Byron
