Hello Volunteers,

Don Carnicom found that two poles have been broken in the Sulphur PA fence, and 2 posts need straightening. On the upper Cienega PA bridge, he found a rotten board.

1. On Wednesday, March 16, we will replace the two poles and straighten the posts. Don also plans to obtain a board to replace the rotten one in the bridge.

Meet at 9 am at the FOSM Guard Station. Wear warm clothes and boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring snacks, drinks, lunch, work gloves, and a hard hat. Also, bring usual tools to replace fence poles.

I have an appointment on the west side of the mountain at 1 pm on Wed., but we should finish this project by noon.

2. Photos of the fence, bridge and snow in the upper part of Cienega PA are presented in the attached Word document. We will continue bucking the large log after the snow melts.
