Hello all,

Last Thursday the trail-building crew continued benching in new tread on the Challenge Trail extension, moving south and east towards Bill Spring. 'Twas a rocky day. After lunch we had a surprise visit from Kerry Wood, Russell Berman and members of the FS crew, passing through for chainsaw practice farther up the flag line. Kerry stayed awhile to swing a tool, offer some thoughts, and pull some very large rocks from a section of backslope. See attached report for a few photos from the day.
