Hello Everyone,

On Wed., Aug. 17, FOSM volunteers will be felling hazard trees in Las Huertas PA (8 white firs in upper area, 7 to 15-inch diameters) and on Sandia Cave Trail (12 trees, 7 to 24-inch diameters).

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the ranger station.

Wear long pants, long sleeve shirt, and boot with slip-resistant soles. Bring a hard hat, eye and ear protection, work gloves, lunch, snacks, and drinks.

I know that the road to Las Huertas PA is rough, and some people do not like to drive it. I will be driving and can take 1 to 3 passengers, and Jerry will be driving and can take some passengers.

Please let me know if you plan to work that day.
