Hello Everyone,

Manny Chavez, SRD Maintenance Supervisor, told me he would tow and operate the chipper to chip slash piles in picnic areas and at trailheads. We agreed to work on this project and start in Cienega PA on Wed., Sept. 14.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the ranger station. Wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, and sturdy boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring work gloves, a hard hat, eye and ear protection, lunch, snacks, and drinks.

We will need at least one chain sawyer to cut slash so that it will go into the chipper.
