Hello Everyone,

Although the weather forecast for Wednesday, Dec. 7, is “a slight chance of rain and snow” (20%) for Sandia Park, I am scheduling a project to complete clearing the corridor for the Challenge Trail Extension on Wed., Dec. 7.

I will check the weather early on Wed. and, if necessary, announce a postponement by 7 am that day. I would probably reschedule it for Friday.

Meet at 9 am at the FOSM Guard Station on Wed., Dec. 7.

Wear warm clothes and bring lunch, snacks, drinks, boots with slip-resistant soles, work gloves, and eye and ear protection. We will be using chain saws.

We will carpool and park on a wide shoulder above the trail near the large culvert under the Crest Highway in Tejano Canyon.
