Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, May 10, FOSM volunteers will work on three tasks:

1. Cienega PA – Low stumping at about a half-dozen sites where hazard trees were felled earlier.
2. Cienega PA – Replacing a 10-foot broken pole.
3. Felling hazard trees – Balsam Glade PA, 1 tree; Capulin PA, 1 tree, and Capulin Snow Play Area, 1 tree.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the Ranger Station in Tijeras. Wear the usual PPE – long pants, long sleeve shirt, and boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring hard hats, gloves, snacks, drinks, and lunch. We will be using chain saws; therefore, also bring ear and eye protection.
