Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, May 17, the FOSM project will be felling hazard trees in Nine Mile PA, at 10K Trailhead, at Ellis TH, and at the Crest.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the Ranger Station in Tijeras. Wear the usual PPE – long pants, long sleeve shirt, and boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring hard hats, gloves, snacks, drinks, and lunch. We will be using chain saws; therefore, also bring ear and eye protection.

Please bring the attached hazard tree maps to help find the trees.
