In wrapping up our 3 week partnership with Talking Talons, I'd like to deeply thank the FOSM crew leaders who stepped up to the program: Lou Romero engineered, then spoke at the 2-day orientation program to give the 7 TTYL/YCC young adults focus and purpose. He also led 2 wood splitting and stacking days(which they loved the most). Jenny Blackmore led the crew on 2 of her trail building Thursdays. Sam Beard led the crew for 3 days. Joelle Hertel led a unique 3-day project of modifying an existing gate, installing a trail limiter, then running 100 feet of pipe fence in both directions.

This Father's Day is more than a tribute to biological fathers. It is also meant to realize that we are all 'Fathers', in this case, volunteering to raise our next generation of forest stewards.
