Hello Volunteers,

On Wed., Sept. 13, the FOSM project will be the restoration of Balsam Glade shelter by installing a new 12-inch diameter post, a 6-ft beam, and eight short posts under the horizontal beams.

We will be working with carpentry tools to drill holes and install 10-inch screws.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the ranger station. Wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, and boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring work gloves, snacks, lunch, drinks, and tools.
