Hello Everyone,
On Wed., Sept. 27, we will be cutting brush (elm brush, other brush, and low branches on some trees) in the areas around the three large picnic shelters in Doc Long PA. We will use chain saws and brush cutters.
We will pile the slash near the parking lots so that it can be chipped or hauled away by the USFS.
Wear long pants, a long sleeve shirt, and sturdy boots with slip-resistant soles. Bring eye and ear protection, hard hats, snacks, drinks, lunch, and work gloves.
Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station.
