I think few would argue with my claim that fall is New Mexico at its best. The weather is usually perfect and the fall colors gorgeous, which is why the International Balloon Fiesta takes place early October every year. In addition to the gorgeous gold of the aspens in the Sandias there are reds and oranges to be seen and photographed in the Manzano Mountains.
