Hello Everyone,

 

  1. Tues., Nov. 7 -- Painting and Graffiti Removal Project –  Volunteers will remove graffiti in the Crest/Ellis Trailhead area and paint the south side of the North Crest Trailhead kiosk.

 

Meet at 9:00 am at the FOSM Guard Station. Wear paint clothes, sturdy boots with slip-resistant soles, long pants, and a long-sleeve shirt. Bring work gloves, eye protection, lunch, snacks, drinks, and a jacket for cool morning temperatures. Paint and graffiti removal chemicals will be provided.

 

  1. Wed., Nov. 8 – Brush Cutting at Barro Wild Life Drinker – Volunteers will cut brush around the old Barro Wild Life Drinker back to a radius of 50 feet. If prey animals can see predators at this distance, they may have time to escape.

 

Meet at 9:00 am at the FOSM Guard Station. Wear sturdy boots with slip-resistant soles, long pants, and a long-sleeve shirt. Bring work gloves, hard hat, eye and ear protection, lunch, snacks, drinks, and a jacket for cool morning temperatures.
