Hello all!

Please join me in welcoming our new Trails Foreman to the District! Please share out to the broader FOSM group! Still awaiting a start date for Canyon.

Jen Medina-Gray (they/them) is very excited to be joining the Sandia Ranger District Trails team. They are originally from Maryland, but have been living in Albuquerque for the past year. They got their start in trails by participating in the Utah Conservation Corps in 2017 after deciding they needed to get out of New York City for the summer. After Utah, Jen spent a season building too many rock structures with the Student Conservation Association in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, and has continued to work in trails with various non profits, private contractors, and federal agencies ever since. Jen is really looking forward to getting to know everyone, and sharing time with others who like to geek out about trees and animal poop.
