FOSM’s Spring semi-annual Crest Road trash pickup and brush maintenance will be held on Tuesday May 28 at 9:00am.
Meet at the wide pull-off on the right about a quarter mile beyond the Hwy 4 mile marker, (which BTW has recently gone missing).
As a back-up, use FOSM's blue adoption sign, which is adjacent to the mile marker.
Our one mile Adopt-A-Highway section is mile marker 4-5. There is ample parking at this pull-off.
Required: long sleeve shirt, long pants, sturdy shoes(no open toes), work gloves, and eye protection.
Recommended: sun protection, plenty of fluids, and snacks.
Provided: trash bags, reflective vests, and six Trash Picker Uppers.
Bring your own pruning saw, loppers or other small hand tools if you'd rather cut brush than pick-up trash.
We will do a brief Job Hazard Analysis(JHA) and divide into two groups.
Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We should finish around noon.
Updated information will be provided once we have a list of volunteers.
Thank you,
Steve Roholt
