Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, July 31, FOSM volunteers will fell five hazard trees on a Sandia Nordic Ski Club trail near Dan's Loop.

SNSC volunteers are making improvements in their trail system this summer, and Scott Dietrich, SNSC President, requested that FOSM fell these trees to make this segment of their system safer.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the Ranger Station. Wear boots with slip-resistant soles, long pants, and a long sleeve shirt. Bring snacks, drinks, lunch, a hard hat, and ear and eye protection.  We will be using chain saws.

We will park at Dan's Loop and hike down to the trail where the trees are located.
