Hello Everyone,

On Wed., Dec. 18, we will fell, limb and buck several dead pinon trees at the Sandia Mountain Natural History Center west of NM-14. The Center wants to keep the wood.

Meet at 9 am at the FOSM Guard Station behind the ranger station.

Bring snacks, drinks, lunch, PPE for chainsaw use, work gloves, chaps, hard hat, eye and ear protection, and a warm jacket. Wear slip-resistant boots, a long sleeve shirt, and long pants.

Susan Gregory is a volunteer at the SMNHC and made the arrangements for us to process these trees.
