Hello wonderful FOSM volunteers,

I would like to get a small group together to rebuild a switchback on Embudito. A section at the top of the switchback has caved in, and I would like to reinforce it with a large rock retaining wall that starts at the bottom of the switchback. Attached is a photo of the trail in its current state. If you have been up there recently, you wouldn’t have missed it. Hike to the project site would be 1.75 miles from Embudito trailhead and we will be carrying tools for rock work (rock bars, pick mattocks, dirt bags, rock slings, etc.). This will be a day of heavy lifting and large rocks. I am looking for 3-4 folks who are available on Tuesday 4/8 or Wednesday 4/9 from 8am-3pm.

Best,
