Hello All,

On May 11, Michael Arndt and Sam Beard began working on a replacement for one of the short decorative posts on Doc Long Picnic Area Shelter A. Decay had developed on one side of the post. 

The process of selecting a log, cutting it to a length of 32 inches, making and sanding four bevel cuts on the top, and peeling the bark are shown in the photos below.
