Hello Volunteers,

On Wednesday, June 4, we will be driving in to Kiwanis Cabin parking lot in high clearance vehicles . We will be assembling 24 sections of a buck and rail fence on the south side of Kiwanis Meadow. Each section will be constructed with already assembled bucks (2 each crossed 5-inch diameter 5-ft long pressure-treated posts with a small brace) and 3 each 2-inch to 3-inch diameter rails 12 feet long.

We will be using battery-powered screw drivers to attach each rail to the bucks with 2 each 6-inch screws. Bring battery-powered screw drivers, if you have one.

Meet at 8 am at the FOSM Guard Station with the usual PPE for field work - hard hat, work gloves, hiking boots with slip-resistant soles, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt.

Bring snacks, drinks, and lunch.

Email me if you have questions.
