FOSM Members,

FOSM’s annual board election will be held at our 7 October 2025 general meeting. This year there are three open board positions:

1.     Vice President

2.     Treasurer

3.     At large

Descriptions of duties for the Vice President and Treasurer are attached.

Our four officers, President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary serve one-year terms. Current officers, President Mike Madden and Secretary Silke Bletzer, have each agreed to serve another one-year term; however, Vice President Cliff Giles is stepping down after serving for five years and Treasurer Jeff Young is also stepping down. Thank you Cliff and Jeff!

Eight At large board members serve two-year terms in staggered groups of four. At large board members support various FOSM activities, and help out as needed. This year Steve Roholt is stepping down from his At large position. Thank you Steve!

We would like to finalize our election ballot by 15 August 2025. This is an open election, and once we have committed nominees, the President will send ballots to all active FOSM members. You can nominate yourself, or anyone else you think is qualified. I am chairing the nominating committee this year, so  please email me your nominations at sfgregory1@gmail.com by 14 August.
